Sri Lanka: Ceylon Brewery stocks increased by 5.73% on April 19

Ceylon Brewery stocks increased by 5.73% on April 19, after the company announced a 40% first and final interim dividend to be paid on May 5th.

Meanwhile the Lion Brewery announced a 30% final dividend to be paid on May 5th.

Sri Lanka stocks ended lower on April 19 in thin trade at the Colombo Bourse as investors remained nervous over the continuing rebel attacks in the north east. Norwegian peace envoy Jon Hanssen Bauer arrived yesterday in a bid to salvage the troubled peace process.
